I'm trying to figure out a good way for my kids to listen to music in their rooms using a music service. If they used Apple Music as part of our family setup, will that work well with the Homepod Minis in terms of being able to have their playlists, history, etc linked to them from a Homepod mini in their room?

They currently have Echos, but apparently no one on the Amazon Music team has children because there's no goddamn way for them keep things like playlists, history, etc between a tablet and a smart speaker using Amazon Music.

Bleh, one of my kids has a homepod mini that she is the primary user on but her music listening just started showing up in my apple music history (it's been fine for months).

Anyone else ran into this? I can't see anything obviously wrong but don't have tons of ideas short of just resetting the thing and setting it up as her again (we're all part of a family group, she has her own apple music sub).

EDIT: Tried signing out the "homepod" account and will see what that does I guess

I'm the process of slowly replacing my old echo devices with homepods, my latest swap brought up a question. We have a "good night" routine on alexa where alexa turns off the lights and says a thing.

If I just say "Hey siri, goodnight", it just says good night, adding in a "good night" scene stops siri from making a randon comment, but does turn off the light and says that is executing the good night scene. Is there a way to turn the scene announcement off? That feels unnecessary.

Edit:

Bizzarely it just stopped announcing the scene on it's own so IDK what is real anymore :(
