People were shooting through walls, companions were teleporting, I couldn't aim at the goddamn turret that was 3 feet in front of me. It was basically unplayable. I didn't have a hard save outside that wouldn't cost me hours of progress to go back too so I just gave up. You needed to sneak in the back way via the gas station, steal the Mk II power armor, and then locate the sergeant patrolling inside the base and give him a hearty "SIR!" to show that you are respectful and cool and totally one of the guys. Also when in combat the only acceptable way of playing is: Walking up to someone, jamming the Bozar in their groin, and pulling the trigger. The only NPCs where this is not the correct course of action are the thieving little shits standing outside all the stores in The Den: For those guys just make sure the only things in your pockets as you walk by are actively armed explosives.
