i would very much spend money on HD remakes of FO1/2 in the same mold as the ones the old infinity engine games got though even with stuff like high resolution mods for the old games there's stuff that could be significantly improved on (navigating the inventory in the old games is a real nightmare these days)

There's plenty of Wasteland U S A for the developers, whether Bethesda or some other third party brought in, to keep pushing out farther from California or (still pretty lovely areas) of the Commonwealth or Capitol Wasteland so I don't think we'll ever hit the point where everything is too organized that life is now boring and normal I would like for them to kick off in a totally different direction though for FO6, though my gut tells me it'll probably be something like New York City Revisiting the Mid-West to finally nail down what's the now canon with the MWBrotherhood and get away from West Coast/East Coast thread lines would be interesting

im a huge fallout 4 fan and even ill admit the game really could have used more optional lore dump conversation options or lengthy computer terminal entries for those that wanted to to comb over maybe not like, dragon age inquisition level where im spending hours just refreshing dialogue options with everyone in between actually moving the story along but some sort of middle ground

You can also just ignore it completely if you want. Far Harbor as everyone says is really great and definitely the highlight of the game. Of course if you do have the dlc on you can use mods to introduce the various standard guns and stuff into the Commonwealth loot tables so there's that too.

I think the unofficial patch takes care of that at this point, I know my last playthrough like four? or so months ago it wasn't so noticeable but when it came out it's like they replaced all the raider gangs in the commonwealth. Also replaced all my loading screen slides as well.

It's $35 for GOTY on steam but that's a pretty good value for something you could just gently caress around with for 50-100 hours with good gameplay and graphics in my opinion

In my opinion FNV has much, much better writing and attention to detail while FO4 is generally a just much better for the actual gameplay experience and also a big pretty world to get lost in I personally never had an issue with the voiced protagonist but I only played as female sole survivor, never really done a lengthy male one so can't compare but I thought Courtenay Taylor did a good job Berke Negri fucked around with this message at 11:16 on Mar 3, 2018 |

Fallout 3, in it's time was good, and did a solid job rebooting the franchise after Interplay went to poo poo, but like Oblivion Fallout 3 is kind of in a weird gameplay/graphics/performance/general all around limbo all these years later I can get the playing very different characters things but even in FO3 (Which basically left you a cipher to fill in your own details but was basically light side good or kick puppies dark side) or FNV (where I always went either NCR/Yes Man) I could have very "different" play throughs but still stuck with a very kind of similar character, but enjoyed replaying the game nonetheless. This is basically how I operated in my FO4 playthroughs too Never could stomach a Legion playthrough. One time I really tried but by the time I get to Nipton I'm just like nah kill em all

I definitely know countless friends that in games like KOTOR1/2 will go dark side for the kicks of it but can probably count on one hand with fingers to spare people I know (or admitted to) going full Legion in FNV, they're really so despicable its hard to stomach them

Kirkbride literally does TES fanfiction. redguard+morrowind (especially the Pocket Guide to the Empire Vol. 1) are actually considered the "beginning" of what most people think of TES now actually arena and daggerfall had a lot of the bits that would go on to get fleshed out (race, province names, most of the aedra/daedra ended up being established in them though not generally as they were re-imagined as in TES3) but other that it was just a lot of kind of homebrew D&D stuff

i like 4 much better than 3 but not going to lie was kind of really hoping for that speculation of a fo3 remaster to be true because its a rough game to get running on windows 10 these days and i'd love to do a full playthrough again some day

If you buy two paid mods that affect the same stuff are conflicts handled automatically? they're basically paid dlc that's sometimes contracted out to known modders and sometimes made by Bethesda it uses the new .esl extension which is like mini mods so unless a mod is modifying something dealing with it shouldn't effect anything (AWCR or whatever it's called didn't play well with all the armor paint job CC stuff but that's already been patched for example )

the railroad only mind wipes synths if they ask to, but its given as an option don't seem to want to deal with the trauma of their synth lives you average runaway seems to mostly be the servant synths sent up to scav or work the institute doing menial/dangerous labor though there is one AWOL courser we meet (well 2 if you count the guy from fallout 3) dont be mean to me posted:I thought the originals of the people that got subbed out with synths were used for the Institute's super mutant stock, at least until the super mutant program collapsed. correct Berke Negri fucked around with this message at 00:02 on Jun 5, 2018 |
