I mean, after how that went down I'd be totally fine with the Lions management going to Caldwell hat in hand and un-firing him instead of picking up the Pat's DC. Shimrra Jamaane posted:The ballsiest play in Super Bowl history will forever be the Saints onside kick. Yeah, gotta agree there, but so far that 4th down pass to Foles is certainly ballsiest offensive play that I can recall in the Superbowl. I wouldn't be surprised to see both those plays outdone sometime in the next 10 years, maybe going for it on 4th earlier in the game or an onside kick on the opening kickoff, or multiple onside kicks, something like that.

Eric the Mauve posted:The Steelers tried a very similar onside kick against the Cowboys in SB30, but since they didn't recover it no one remembers it They recovered it, and it even lead to a touchdown to make that a 3-point game, but then Neil O'Donnell couldn't stop throwing it directly to Larry Brown and they lost, which is why it's largely forgotten. So, in short: Foles > O'Donnell > Br*dy

Just a hot streak? you put him with an offensive guy like Pederson, Reid, Anthony Lynn, or Sean McVay, I think he could be in the 10-15 range on a consistent basis, but I doubt he's much better than that. well above the poo poo you saw teams paying through the nose for the last few offseasons (how much did the Bears give Glennon?)
