I bought this game on launch on 360, played it for about a year, and then got rid of my console and games. Just bought the game again now that I have a Steam deck, and I'm sitting here wondering why the gently caress Lester is consistently calling me about some poo poo I haven't done.  I'm actually glad it's a bug and not something that I just wasn't paying attention to. I cannot for the life of me remember how to make money online anymore. Can't even afford a cab ride. I'll look it all, but man, it's good to be back. Actually, didn't originally the game start with you showing up at the airport? Is that not a thing anymore?

My eyes are tired, but tomorrow, it's golf, tennis, and darts! I may join you on the 31st, but I'm also involved in the Dogpit Jam (goon run) livestream, so I might not be able to make it. I'll definitely catch it next time regardless. Edit: I know I'll be all up in crazy poo poo later, but right now, this is such a good "walking around a city and doing menial things" sim. Oh, I get it. Yeah, I was doing a Simian mission with a highly leveled random the other day. He was driving mostly, but one time, I accidentally got into the car first and immediately realized my mistake. Got out and he took over, and then I got back in. It'd be nice if I could either pick passenger from the get go, or the driving of that specific car at that specific time was limited to him.

Hey, do different cars get different custom options? I really haven't delved deep into customizing cars, I've only done it twice or so. I realize it's likely not going to be anywhere near Forza's editor/custom shop, but do I ever get to put decals together? Put specific paint features on specific areas? I at least get to put my crew's emblem on cars, right? Is that certain ones, or any car I customize?

Ok, so I mostly play online solo, but will eventually be joined by my wife and friends. Until then, am I stupid for even attempting to source 3 crates at once for my warehouse? Because after fighting for my life, I'll manage to get 2 crates back, and have virtually no time to get the third. "Oh, hey, drive halfway across the map to get the last crate and bring it back. Btw, you now have 2 minutes. Good luck!" Fffffffffffffff... Also, holy loving gently caress do I hate bikers who show up while I'm trying to run supplies back even for my MC bar. gently caress you, gently caress you, gently caress you.

So, after playing it solo for about two weeks, my wife and two of our friends finally joined me in GTA Online last night. I'm sure most if not all of you know what I mean when I describe it as multiplayer gaming nirvana. It was like pure-strain fun at its most elemental level and I don't think I've ever laughed as hard, at least not in a very long time. "Hey, drop me off at the top of this super tall building. I'm gonna jump off and parachute down; it'll be cool!" - I said this before realizing that the lower 2 floors were significantly wider than the roof, and ragdoll'd accordingly as they all watched from the chopper.

I know I was advised not to bother with triple crate sourcing but I gave it another shot with 2 more people, and it was beautiful. It was the sunken ship one, and my wife and our friend were on air support with a buzzard while I set the satchel charges and picked up the stuff underwater. By the time I was done, the enemies were all dead. I climbed up to a rock rather than go all the way to shore and they were actually able to pick me up. The teamwork aspect in this game is A+

I haven't done them yet, but I think with the heists, you can set everyone's percentage of the profits. Can I do that with ceo stuff? I was selling acid and thought we were all going to get a big payout, but nope, just me.

I'm big on everyone getting an equal share and was not happy whatsoever when I asked "Hey, did everyone else get $115k just now?", and getting the response "try $11.5k". Which, to their credit, they were happy with but I certainly wasn't. Plus it'll only be a matter of time before <12k is effectively nothing to them.

Yeah, I've summoned the buzzard a few times for us to get into major shenanigans. Great stuff! I'm looking to eventually buy it or a similarly armed one so I don't have to keep paying the fee to basically rent it. I'm getting conflicting reports online; with the iFruit app gone, is there no way to customize license plates until Rockstar adds that functionality to their website?

Aside from that, we did some VIP work, which was great. Looking forward to doing more of that. Mostly sightseer so far, but what's everyone's favourite VIP mission?

Part of me is waffling on buying the mobile control centre, but I already have an upgraded Acid Lab (coloured white and red, called The Zednought because  ), so my huge, slow armoured vehicle itch is sufficiently scratched.I own property, so I don't really need the accommodations it provides... Any other reason to get it? I just barely have enough so it's not like I'm able to throw money away.

Thanks for the answers. I'm not entirely sold on it, but I likely would be if I wasn't using the acid lab to barrel through my troubles. I definitely want to eventually get an Opressor mk II, so I'll look into.... whatever vehicle houses and reloads that. I can't remember the names yet. The kosatka is the sub, the acid lab is a modified Brickade 6x6, and then there's the terror-something, which is likely what I'm talking about.

Just did the casino heist for the first time. Whew! We did the costumed approach, failed A BUNCH and had to watch and rewatch TGG's coverage of it all. My god, the feeling of accomplishment. I realize that that heist and Cayo Perico are the tops, but I'm still looking forward to doing them all.

I'm slowly building up my nightclub empire; got 5 technicians sourcing 5 businesses (coke, cash, meth, crates, and bunker), and I'll have the other two businesses purchased soon enough. Then I'll expand my storage to the max. And that full warehouse sale will be so sweet. I always play in a group of three other people, so we're regularly all in on everyone's business delivery mission, getting 10% to help, and getting the three person backup team when you're the one selling. Also, I love the Kosatka. It's almost entirely cumbersome to move, but the idea of having this huge Russian sub is just fantastic.
