So basically we're heisting in Not-Cuba? Also, I saw what looked like an attack submarine at the end. God I hope that's an ownable vehicle because that would be hilarious :allears:

The text on that page says "Oh, and a very large, very versatile, and very heavily armed submarine HQ with plenty of other surprises"

So sounds like it's the new facility equivalent for running the heist

I am shocked that they implemented this fix, and did it so quickly! I would've expected it maybe in a future regular update, at best. This thing was only reported like two weeks ago! It makes a big, noticeable difference on the load times in the game. Amazing.

That whole drive up the mountain and parajump off never worked right for me and my friends, something always went wrong. We found it much easier to drive up the western coast, straight to where our boat was waiting, instead.

Nope, we completely ignored the checkpoints and drove in a SWAT van up the west coast directly to the boat. It's there, no problem.

I also did the first scouting mission with the beach party with my friends. I didn't have any trouble getting them in. Maybe... they needed to be in your sub when you trigger the mission? Maybe the game is just buggy sometimes?

Lol at the upscaling. Like they didn't even look at things to see if they're good? Just had textures AI upscaled and assume they're all fine? Like what could a slot machine possibly say on the front, must be Jurbhol:

I don't understand how anyone ever buys GTAO shark cards, let alone enough people buying them to make it one of the most profitable games ever.

I got the game free from Epic Game store years ago, and I've played it off and on and never paid cash money for anything for this game. Like if you want an expensive car or whatever, just do a couple heists???

I guess I did have a bit of a leg up when starting since the free Epic Games copy of the game was the Criminal Enterprises Starter Pack edition, which includes some free starter cash, a free office, free bunker, free motorcycle clubhouse, a free apartment...

And me and my three friends all got that free starter bundle, so it really gave us a good head start in GTA Online.

Edit: For what it's worth I feel like it is good to have a bunch of businesses feeding the nightclub. I have a motorcycle clubhouse and a bunch of motorcycle businesses, but I never ever touch them because the sell missions suck bigtime for those businesses. instead these businesses exist solely for the Nightclub to accrue cargo related to them. Cocaine is a good one to own as the nightclub cocaine stock sells well. Also if you have a cocaine business, if you clear out one of the daily safehouses which takes like 90 seconds, it'll refill supplies on one of the drug businesses you own, so if you do wind up with some cocaine stock you can sell it to one of the new street vendors rather than trying to do an actual sell mission because those suck bigtime. The more businesses you own the faster the nightclub can get stock (assuming you have enough warehouse technicians), the more money you make on a nightclub sell mission.

Otherwise setting up an acid lab was easy and cheap and selling acid seems decent too. Also once you do all the story missions you get a cool electric supercar for free, so that's nice.

Yeah I don't think there's anything restricted to only public lobbies, I think everything can be done in private/invite/solo lobbies now.

Except some missions or heists or whatever have a limit on player number. Like you need at least 2 players to do the casino heist finale, or whatever. So those things can't quite be solo'd.

I think it really depends on the heist. Some are straightforward, like the guns-out casino assault. But you'd have a challenge going in blind to some, like the stealthy casino approach.

I bought the game on Steam more than two years ago along with a shark card and only recently installed it. Mostly doing free mode challenges like the Navy Revolver, Stone Hatchet, Signal Jammers, all the other collectibles etc. A few vehicle exports here and there, might do the stunt jumps now that I've done most of the other stuff. I am really enjoying driving up and down the highways in the Phantom Wedge and Ramp Buggy- otherwise I've garaged the following vehicles:

Glendale
Sentinel Classic
Dubsta 6X6
Turismo Classic
Cheetah Classic
Infernus Classic
Weevil
Comet Safari
Casco
Tropos Rallye
Stromberg

I'm bummed they removed the Swinger and Zion Classic, those are two of my favorite cars IRL :argh:

You're in luck, according to Reddit the Zion Classic will be available in one of the vehicle showrooms to purchase for a week, starting Thursday!

I feel like I don't see a lot of recommendations for the Buzzard attack helicopter lately. It's really good, especially since once you buy it you can summon one for free instantly right next to yourself if you're a CEO. I use it like constantly. It's quick enough, and less made of paper than the helicopter you get with the Kosatka submarine.

Plus if you own an aircraft hangar too, you can summon three of them at a time so you and your buds can fly helicopters with seeker missiles and everything.

The Oppressor mk2 is pretty expensive though! 8 million default price, or 6 million at trade price. But either way you probably want to get the Terrorbyte, as it's the only way you can put missiles on the Opmk2 (and also used to unlock the trade price), and *also* need a Nightclub in which to put the Terrorbyte? That's a lot of investment for the hoverbike! I mean you'll probably want a Nightclub at least eventually anyway, and perhaps the Terrorbyte as well, but that all adds up.

Meanwhile the Buzzard only costs $1.75 million and requires nothing to buy it. I think it has a higher top speed too, though obviously takeoff and landing is gonna be more annoying in a larger helicopter than a hoverbike.

Anyway the Buzzard has served me very well for my GTA stuff. The Op mk2 isn't the only choice!

The nicest things about the electric supercar are that it's free and it can be upgraded if you own an Agency with imani tech for the lockon missile jammer, making it good for driving around in open free mode.

I just finished the new Cluckin Bell raid missions for the first time the other day. Seems like it would be a good way for a newbie to get $750,000 (500k payout + first completion bonus), with basically zero investment ahead of time. Though having an armored kuruma probably helps make some missions easier.

Plus they can be replayed to keep getting an easy 500k. Maybe I'll try it using my Weaponized Tampa for the setup missions next time.

You can kinda have two bunkers, two nightclubs, and two hangars. You have a second character slot you can switch to. Your banked money is shared, but on-hand cash and purchased properties aren't. So you'd have to swap characters to access their properties, but this way you could spend all your money pointlessly upgrading two nightclubs that have to be managed completely separately!

The wall safe just upgrades the default safe. You still have a safe to collect passive income by default.

My research on the difference between the beater tow truck and new truck is that they're basically the same, doesn't seem worth it to get the more expensive one to me.

The staff upgrade lets them scrap towed cars twice as fast. But I didn't get it because I usually don't play long enough in a day for it to matter to me, I just tow a car or two and get the payment next time I play.

That’s very easy when playing on a platform that has people on it Corky

You don't need people to get the $5000/day from the arcade, it passively fills every day regardless of actual use.

Also it doesn't matter what arcade games you put in your arcade. You can just put the cheapest cabinet you can buy into every slot. It's purely based on how many machines you put in your arcade, and you can put duplicates, and some arcade machines can go in almost every slot. So just put whatever lovely game you can into every slot to maximize that $5000/day.

The Raiju can do vertical takeoff and landing like a Harrier, so you can land it basically like a helicopter

It also goes really fast in jet mode
