That thunder phantom face reminds me of the Mouth of Sauron from Peter Jackson's Return of the King.

Ratoslov posted:One decent, if stupid, way to deal with the lack of bosses to carry the rest of the game would be for Verderende to have her own sub-boss squad. But I think we're gonna get 7 levels of filler. I'm expecting: -2 stage levels -1 boss fight level against the last witch -2 more stage levels -1 boss fight level against Faust's old man lackey -1 more stage level -2 boss fight levels against Faust

Minukelsus riding piggy-back cements him as the best character in the game.

At least they died doing what they loved... Giving items to the party. Though I guess we don't get the sword as equipment now.

That's a really terrible ending they've got there. And yet it would have been at least 10% better by simply not killing off Minukelsus so he could show up in a gas mask or something.

OutofSight posted:WTF was the theme of that ending? It's not even sticking around forever, given the clothing discussion it sounds more like they time-travel around fixing things like Quantum Leap.

Crystalgate posted:That has another problem though. The witches should not be able to time travel normally, if they can, then Gretchen's ability to see the future would not matter much. If you can travel to the future, you can also see it. The only way it makes sense is if Gretchen did not seal away the Anima del Monde and instead decided to use it, which seems highly hypocritical. No more hypocritical than everything else in the ending.
