Kirby Super Star is probably the last essential "this is as important as Tetris or Super Mario Bros." game in the series but there have been many great ones since. Kirby 64 is underrated for the soundtrack. Star Allies being an amalgam of 64 and Dream Land 3, probably two of the least-played Kirby games in their day, seems like an attempt to rescue those ideas. Also I spent an inordinate amount of time in the pinball minigame in Mass Attack for how simple it was.

the highlight of my experience with fable was walking through town and randomly seeing that one dude was gay for my musclebound knight with hosed up proportions i stopped playing the game when the main villain was introduced because i realized i really hated the combat

I remember a lot of people complaining about how you healed in Fable 2. There were two ways to heal; drink a health potion or eat food. Health potions were rare and expensive though. Food worked just fine, but it had the side effect of adding weight to your character. So if you sucked at the combat and needed to eat constantly you ended up as a fatass

There are no game overs. You never need to use any healing unless you cant stand the idea of your character having scars
