I just started reading this comic cause I was sick, and finally decided to get around to this It Hurts!! thing I saw in the thread list. That was Saturday, and I've finished IH!!, caught up to Please Forgive Me!!! and have read various other side stuff. If there's one thing this comic does extremely well, it's representing depression very well. I have done things like this in the past. The worst part of depression is putting a happy face on because depression is a motherfucker. Hats off to Gob/Josef for making this brutally honest work, you bastards.

And we all know why she feels like this. I suppose I found the end of IH!! bittersweet, but it's very hard to see the sweet now. IH!! Pasqualo had a no-win situation to figure out, and he tried his best to make his friends happy, but it just wasn't in the cards. I'm still hopeful that PFM!!! Pasqualo can find her way through the messy teen times, but it isn't easy without help.
