Even when handed a janky, unfinished, rat slaying simulator that looks and plays like a $1.99 iOS game from 2016, many of them seem downright determined to enjoy it. I wonder if the sunk cost of time spent thinking about Pantheon over the last decade makes acknowledging the reality of this bad game psychologically untenable.
