they literally name the loving thing as a force of nature, something beyond, in the shaman's death scene with lady silence.

appreciated that the subject and style of the series allowed for great monlogues by by harris and hinds. is tuunbaq something like a sin-eater to the inuit? he never quite comes across as revered but they don't see him as mindless terror or a demon. just something that felt like a theme with goodsir's pleas to lady silence on how they are good men, kind souls and how desperate he is to have her, but mostly himself, believe that. puking up someone as wicked as hickey felt a little on the nose in the end, but still cool. too much manbearpig though, darkness, fog and dread would have been a little creepier. the souls bit was cool.

it's been a few days and I'm still somewhat disconcerted by the 'dinner scenes' in ep10 dunno if it was the desolation or the polite table manners and properly aligned cutlery, but those scenes have given me a case of the willies for four days straight. upgunned shitpost fucked around with this message at 01:23 on Apr 18, 2018 |

chances are Hickey became a murderous cannibal, regardless of artistic lisence.
