Team: New England Patriots Record: 13-3 What Sucked: Well they lost the Superbowl, that kinda sucked. Losing Edelman in the preseason sucked too, since the offense would've gone from ridiculous to orgasmic with him. The entire defense was some level of injured or sucked or talentless for most of the season too, but whatever. What was good: Brady handily won MVP, Gronk was insane. Rest of the offense performed at a ridiculous level once again. Defense played about as well as one could expect from such a talent poor front 7. Went to the Superbowl for the 3rd time in 4 years and the AFC Championship game for the 7th consecutive season, that's pretty good. Most Disappointing Player: Alan Branch probably. Had been a stout rotational DT for a few years and completely disappeared last year. Failing that, I guess Dwayne Allen? Unexpectedly Good: Dion Lewis stayed healthy for the first time ever and was a beast. Marquis Flowers was s scrapheap guy from the Bengals and he flashed as a solid linebacker in a place where there were none otherwise. Best Moment: The throw to Cooks to end the ridiculous Texans game early on probably takes the cake here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DzUGKd6qI0w Draft Needs: Left tackle, pass rushers, athletic tweener linebacker, quarterback that doesn't have memories of the 1st Iraq War. Hopes for 2018: More of this from fans of everyone else: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEKB7pi1mbc
