IUG posted:I've been taking all the paper and disks out of the case, and throwing the case away. I get these sleeves from Amazon, and put them in a box (also from Amazon). I finished my DVD collection, and just kept going from there. I've long since run out of room to display all of them. I just moved and packing the DVDs were a real pain in the rear end. Those look good, I'm now planning to switch over to DiscSox on all of my non Blu Ray stuff.

IUG posted:I couldn't get a straight price on those, so I assume they're expensive. This is what I use: Thank you. I feel the same way as you. My collection now needs a room of it's own and I can think of better ideas on how to use the space. Except for the Blurays, those will stay on the shelf since they look good with the home theater setup.

There are plenty of collectors who will pay money for slip covers. Personally I think my Bluray shelf looks better without them.

Only disc that has rotted on me (that I know of) is Popcorn, but there is a shiny new Blu Ray for that now.

Liar Lyre posted:Looks like a few more OOP Twilight Time releases maybe coming out from different publishers. Sleepless in Seattle is getting a 25th anniversary release through Sony. And there are rumors going around that Shout may be doing Fright Night, The Blob (80s version) and Night of the Living Dead (90s version). I hope those rumors for The Blob and Night of the Living Dead, come true.

ruddiger posted:How's the blu for Luther the Geek? I love the Troma DVD of it, not sure if it's worth double dipping on that title tho. I can't believe VS is releasing Dead Dudes in the House too. I bought that movie years ago in another Troma boxset. Video quality is top notch and it has a new commentary with the director and interview with one of the actors. It also has all of the old extras from the DVD release.

I'm currently using a couple of these shelves for my Blus. https://www.amazon.com/Maxsteel-Steel-Shelving-BluRay-Silver/dp/B000A0FXCK Though I'm going to do the unthinkable and move to Discsox for my DVDs. They just take up too much room.
