If you're desperate to get any older episodes not on the feed you can dig through the Laser Time blog posts to download the ones you want.

http://www.lasertimepodcast.com/category/talking-simpsons/

But who knows how long they may stay on the site with the Laser Time/Talking Simpson's separation.

The episode seemed to be of the same quality as basically every other one.

It was good!

I know the common reputation of season 9 is when The Simpson’s began it’s downfall but I figured that it was nerds being nerds. It’s a little surprising how deficient the writing has gotten to be only seven episodes in to the season.

You sir are very wrong.

And will hate many future episodes.

A little visual reminder for people who have not seen an almost 25 year old Adam Sandler movie in regards to the newest Talking Simpson’s episode.

Bob and Henry were briefly talking about theoretically maybe redoing some of the earlier Talking Simpsons episodes in the future. I’m just about done my second relisten of the podcast and I would say don’t bother. Besides season 1 you guys quickly figured out your groove and it still holds up.

I will say though that your post-Chris material and your shift to guest focused episodes has been fantastic for bringing interesting and alternative perspectives to the show.

Glad everyone is enjoying the shows!

Hey Bob, I don’t know if “The Raccoons” was ever a thing in the US, but has Nina introduced you to it’s banging credits song?

I have strong memories of watching the full run of Undergrads over and over one summer. There are only a handful of episodes and they would just play them continuously.

I also just remembered Kevin Spencer, Canada’s garbage impersonation of early Adult Swim shows/ South Park.

Bob’s mention of being glomped at an anime convention in the latest TS reminded me of this SA classic.

I’m finding this season to be the transition point where the show relies on funny gags and jokes that are good out of context but have really poor plotting and structure to the episodes.

I’d be happy with an Antista-less redo of season one so I don’t have to listen to stories of him constantly making GBS threads his pants and fingering teenagers at summer camp.

He moved to LA. He’s working for Channel 101 now and has a couple of podcasts he does himself.

I think the Pete & Pete episode is going to get me to watch the entire series just like the Strangers With Candy episode did to me last year.

This is only tangentially related to the latest Bevis and Butthead episode but former season writer Howard Kremer has a series of summer themed albums are really funny and catchy. They might be a good listen for some people to help deal with our hell times. They get especially fun on the later albums as he is stretching for summer related material to rap/sing about.

The Gundam Wing episode inspired me to finally finish watching the first Gundam series. And then I moved on to Zeta and remembered that most of the Gundam shows aren’t very good. Zeta is fine but there sure is a whole mountain of trash after that series.

I read the good news on Twitter literally as Bob started to mention the wedding date on the latest Talk to the Audience I was listening to at the same time.

I remember he took a break from social media last year because it wasn’t great for his mental health and he didn’t find it very productive to constantly tweet about how lovely Trump and the state of US politics.

Not the worst action to take.

I did not expect to listen to a WAC Movie podcast length episode about a very C+ Simpson’s episode but Griffin Newman was a great guest.

I finally got around to watching the suggested Art Clokey documentary and it is incredible what a terrible decision it was to have Gumby and Pokey do the narration. Such poor taste!

I’m sure the TS boys would also like to have a back catalogue that doesn’t have content with a business partner they parted ways with. Also I fully believe that they want to do a better job covering the episodes when they weren’t juggling life-draining jobs and podcasts.
