Tabletops posted:watching this show finally. it rules. it's kind of wild how thoughtful and smart it is, while also being painfully funny. some really good stories. Yeah, it's mostly a decent anime adaptation, and some of the scenes work wonderfully in animation, but I would recommend once it's all over to check out the manga. It's very beautiful, and some parts got skipped over/turned into OVA episodes, jumbling up the order of events a bit.
