Though you can get a frequency shifter/stepper to change 10-12mhz band rannge- pretty common tech that's been around for 30 years due to all the imports we have in NZ and Au so they're like $20 on ebay. (display doesn't change - you just mentally ad 10-12mhz when scanning). But who listens to the radio these days anyway? CarPlay fucks up sometimes because Apple  (I thought it may have been a VW problem, but it turned out the only fix was rebooting the phone)
