what the hell happened over the last 24 hours? I'd been playing Neverwinter for about two weeks now, starting from scratch since dipping my toes in it in 2015. I was doing one level a day, and logged out yesterday as a level 19, having just completed a quest to fight off some kobolds and aberrants and today I log on and I'm level 20 and all the Paragon paths and powers and feats are unlocked, and the ability score increases are all unlocked capping out at level 20 I'm very confused. Did they do a massive level cap squish that I was completely unaware of?

Okay, I read through some of the developer blog posts and have got the gist of it: anyone who already had an existing character gets to level 20 immediately, and there's a set of gear that immediately propels you to the baseline item level to start the endgame. Any new characters will have to go through a more tailored/set-piece leveling process that takes about 12 hours. next question: what *is* the endgame, and how do I get started on it?
