Burgatory is my favorite burger joint, then again any place that offers Bison Burgers is my favorite since Bison is the best meat.

Also god I hate the NHL playoffs, the only thing that can redeem it are the Knights winning it since the Pens are probably not going to repeat because of that cheapshotting goon Tom Wilson

I still can't believe someone who writes for the New Yorker also doesn't understand the concept of sequels

Eh the last few were kind of blahh (and they definitely ripped off the ending of TTGL for the last episode) the 1st three episodes in that season are basically perfect though

Also the Ashi/Jack stuff was kind of gross and I wish they just kept it as a platonic relationship instead of romantic which kind of made it come off as fanficy

From what I understand from Feige (granted he lies a lot since marketing and all that), after Avengers 4 there are going to be no more Marvel movies like it in terms of scope and from then on we'll get more movies like Ragnarok where its fun smaller scale crossovers.

I'm actually pretty pumped for Ant-man and the Wasp because I feel Antman is pretty underrated in terms of the MCU

It helps that it is set right after Civil War

I think that is the nature of origin films especially when said origin is kind of boilerplate like Strange's, helps in this movie he is more of a sorcerer than in his movie where all the magic people did was throw invisible spears at each other.

God I can't believe the poo poo my company's head chemist pulled last week, guy is an ancient boomer who has Obama toilet paper, talks a lot about guns, and will tell you how much he hates the government that if he wasn't a chemist would definitely be the elder statesman in sovcit compound in his homestate of Montana.

He prints out 30 sheets of a fake HR sheet that said if you want to make a complaint you have to admit to a list of 10 things like "You have female like feelings" or "You are a Queer". The person who passed these out who thought it was "funny" was my boss/the VP of our company/part owner.

I was kind of surprised that my coworkers of mostly 30 year Gen Xers who are mostly "Socially Liberal Fiscally Conservative" were also pissed and shocked at how unprofessional this was. We aren't going to raise a stink about it though since I'm a coward and know that my coworkers would instantly stab me in the back if I tried building solidarity. Pay and benefits are too good for me to lose the job over this too despite getting tired of the commute and having to deal with said Gen Xers tell me how I need to move out of my parent's house despite the fact that I basically have a studio apartment with free wifi and rent.

Speaking of superhero movies, I'm kind of iffy on seeing Deadpool 2, which is weird because I love the character (playing him in Marvel Ultimate Alliance is what got me into Marvel) and think he's a decent character and I loved the first movie. Well he died peacefully at least and my mom was able to make it in time for his final moments. I'm going to miss him even though as we both got older I started to see a lot of the cracks form in that pedestal I built him on (basically he was a boomer conservative who liked to grumble about liberals and the gays), but I don't think I can be that harsh on him for that aspect since it wasn't like he was responsible for the hellworld we live in.
