It was pretty good, but I did constantly wish it was just more Crying Freeman.

Sanctuary is actually by Bursonson. Both him and Koike have a bunch of manga with art by Ikegami and both like to write stories where the main characters are strong handsome perfect men that all the women in the series want to gently caress so at first glance it's kind of easy to think something written by one was written by the other

speaking of the buronson/ikegami duo, I wish osmeone would start translating Heat again

Yeah, I realised after I posted that I was thinking of Ikegami rather than Koike. :facepalm:
