Right before the fight they said that Brent is a machinist and most of the parts of Gigabyte were made in his garage. Maybe that was one he didn't make himself.

It looked like Chomp might've damaged Overhaul at the end of the fight when it was able to land some hits, but it was too late to matter to the judges at that point. It was knocked around pretty good up until then.

Today's episode is great. That Huge v. Icewave fight was crazy and yet not totally unexpected. Also, wow, go Bombshell, that was a great rumble. I can see why some folks might think it should've gone to Duck but it seemed like a close call.

Eh, they put Bombshell into the rumble knowing that, and it did a really good job. Bombshell probably should've been the winner against Yeti in episode 9, but that was another judges' decision that seemed strange. It may have been influenced by Bombshell catching fire 5 seconds before the end of the match despite breaking Yeti's weapon and damaging it heavily and being pretty dominant for most of the match. The other fights Bombshell lost seemed like it was usually put into a bad situation by not being able to self right effectively letting opponents choose how to finish it (two chose to hurl it out of the ring). I'm sure Duck will be back next year and I'm cool with a goon battlebot being able to continue on.

Go Bombshell. Oh no Bombshell! The second half of this episode was not great but at leas the first few fights were decent. I hope the top few bracket fights don't all end up being kind of disappointing.
