Fabianski was a mess after the final whistle. He got at least fifteen minutes of songs dedicated to him through the game. Only player out there worth a drat. Hope he finds a good home.

Maximum damage control in the stadium. Jenkins watched from his office, they piped in Hymns and Arias over the tannoy constantly after the equaliser, Rangel & Leon's involvements were sad (not in a good way).

Lallana looked good out there. Ran his markers ragged, we really don't have any other players that move quite like him.

Also, Van Dijk has insane bursts of pace for a big man. Several times I saw him turn it on with huge galloping runs and each time he won the race.

He played very well today tbf. I still think he needs to be loaned out next season so he can get a decent run of games (and he isn't good enough for us if we legitimately want to challenge- same with Ings sadly)

Robbo scoring was the most heartwarming moment since Flanno banged in that stunner against Tottenham. Shame he turned out to be a right oval office.

The problem with Solanke imho is that we never really committed to playing to his strengths. Today was the first time we played Firmino in behind him for an extended period of time so he could use his strength and height to knock balls down. His hold up play was actually pretty good.

I fancy we let Ings go and bring in someone else, knock Solanke down to third choice and play him in the cups.
