I'll take any excuse to ride in my R32 GTR with some car nerds even if LoG's 300ZX is faster.

I realized that I have to bow out of the 23rd drive session as I am going to a friends concert in Eugene that I told him I would go to months ago. Still down for July 7th.

I should have the CRX by then after paying a stupid amount to get the Ac fixed amongst other things.

Lord of Garbagemen posted:!!!8 Days till what should be a good drive!!!!! LOL. Ok you have sufficiently shamed me into bringing the GTR. I haven't drive it much lately so I have been itching to take it out. Just got a new wide angle review mirror so I can see the blindspots better in the GTR. The CRX is still at the mechanic anyways.

Should I grab breakfast before I meet you guys or do we want to grab some food before we ride for 4 hours?

Lord of Garbagemen posted:Good post. It was an interesting ride all around. Once we got onto state highways we even passed 5 confederate flags and I got a little nervous as the only non-white car there. I guess some people don't know that Washington state is in the north?

Chunjee posted:drat I wanna come out to one of these. Bought an Xterra that I need to break in and I live scary close to that start location. Would be good to see you again too. Don't think I have seen you much since SST. Perhaps at a party or two. We did a drive this last Saturday. The next one will be at 6:30pm on Wednesday the 29th at the Chevron at 1850 SW Skyline Blvd, Portland, OR 97221.

dphi posted:Looks like a fun route, and a good excuse to pick up some beers at Ft. George. I'll keep an eye on this thread, hoping I'll have my wheels refinished and mounted by then. What would you be driving? Just curious. Are you the guy with the BRZ/FRS/86? All cars are welcome.

Fats posted:I’m going to try to ride the street triple up. My ex recently got a photo radar ticket on that stretch of 30 leaving Portland, so watch out for that. Hmmm... I'd like to know where. I drive that road 2x a day to commute and haven't seen speed cameras or red light cameras anywhere on 30 yet. I tried looking both up online and haven't found any results yet. What does ride the street triple up mean?

Lord of Garbagemen posted:Talking about doing one last big drive before garage season starts, here is the proposed route: This is imminent for those thinking of joining. I am showing up with the GTR, we got a 300ZX coming, Fox Body Mustang Cobra, and potentially NA Miata, MK4 Supra Turbo, and SW20 MR2 Turbo. The cool cars are piling up folks. Time to bring your ride too. Yes I mean you.
