I saw Thundercrack! a few months ago. The image that's burned into my retina is a shot of George Kuchar getting a handjob from a gorilla in close-up. And yes, to completion.

The shot of Marv as a skeleton in Home Alone 2 terrified me as a kid and it's still unnerving. Same thing with the shots with the skeletons and John Candy as the devil in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. The latter was even scarier because you're not exactly expecting outright surrealism out of nowhere.
