i genuinely dont get what any euro countries are supposed to do about the migrants. like obviously treat them humanely and resettle them but every european seems to be racist as all hell so wont they inevitably be ghettozied which will exacerbate social tension and produce reactionary waves? are far left parties even better on migrants to begin with?

It kinda went along with the whole ideal image of blond Germans frolicking in proper Germanic nature like in the olden times they imagined had once existed. Kinda goes back to Romanticism which was a reaction to the conditions created by industrialization. Obviously this never held up whenever it came into contact with any industrial interests.
