We're close to level 30, and it makes sense to have every tool at our disposal when facing a demon queen. Therefore it is in our best interest to go somewhere else besides the castle. So I vote for the mi-- haha I can't, sorry, I can't.

So, uh, what is the plot of this game exactly? Near as I can tell: We got thrown in jail randomly, then Kinna broke us out and told us the magic words to say to become a god wizard, then we killed a bunch of dudes to get off the island, then the king showed up and we murdered him, and now it's time to kill the demon queen for...reasons...and our end goal is what, exactly?

Azure Cove - / Burial Grounds - Desert - Mines - /// Vulhe Castle - //// Let's quit while we're ahead. I'll have to run the final level twice anyway.

With the castle out of the way, let's head back to the mines. Thanks for showing us yet another bad game. While I don't disagree with the points you raised at the end of the video, I think Magus was missing the character and visual polish of Neverdead. Not that it makes one game better than the other, but Magus seemed a lot more amateurish, like some senior game design student's final project grew into a whole game.

What is it with games that clearly will never get a sequel setting themselves up for one at the expense of having an actual ending? Not that I think that Magus would have had a good ending anyway but still. I really liked the mechanic of grinding down unused gear into raw stat boosts, I look forward to seeing that in a game with outfits worth wearing. And the idea of splitting your mana into multiple pools could have been interesting but here it's functionally just ammunition with a long and awkward pickup animation. Overall this was a pretty awkward game in general but thanks for showing it off.

That ending was so much worse than I expected...and I've been watching the whole LP.

Well, that was mediocre. Aggressively so. You know, if you want a walking simulator that's also an escort quest, you could play spaceforname ICO. That can't hurt, right?

Man, I hate it when bad games put developer pictures in the credits. It reminds me this was made by actual people and not a soulless corporate game generator
