With 64 fighters Smash Ultimate had to have pretty much been worked on shortly after 4 came out because that’s an insane amount of balancing needed. 64 characters, how they interact with the other 63, how they interact with all stages, and how the interact with all items. Sakurai is insane

Let’s Go Pokémon games, from what I gather, won’t have some of the more in depth side mechanics like breeding and stuff. They want the Let’s Go series to act as a stepping stone into the deeper full fledged games because right now if you’re jumping in brand new or as someone who hasn’t played in a while there’s so much stuff in them now it can be super overwhelming
