I want to paint some cels. Not actually animate, just make some illustrations in that style with those tools... But I can't actually buy old school paints used back when traditional animation was common. The companies are out of business, and the replacements don't cover nearly as many colours. Ultimately I can still just use other paints but I was really wanting to use Cartoon Colour vinyl paints. I have plenty of useable paint already, and there are fancier gouaches used for anime still available but it's always a bummer to find out an art supply you want just isn't made anymore. Hard to even find used ones. Knew I should've gotten all this 30 years ago but I was an elementary school bum with no job.
