And that's that folks. I should have grabbed a final roster update before launching the last battle, but I forgot to. There were a couple of other promotions but nothing serious. No deaths since the last update. Something's screwy with the tracking though, I counted 21 deaths not 46?      Thanks for coming! I'll leave this thread here if someone else wants to take over. If anyone cares, the final squad was Two Finger (my best sniper), N4I (my best ranger), IDR (best specialist), Mueller (best Skirmisher and all-round badass), Mcnally (Templar) and Immanentized (Reaper). There were a couple of standout moments in the last mission, Two Finger using faceoff to damage everything in sight then N4I using Reaper to score 7 kills in one turn was great. The final mission honestly couldn't have gone smoother. I think only one squad member took any damage at all, the rest of them just unleashed hell. I was never all that sure about Templars, but having seen Parry and Reflect used to devastating effect, I'm coming around pretty rapidly. Also that Darkclaw sniper pistol you get is ridiculous. 7 damage and pierces all armour. Use that with the triple shot pistol skill and you drop almost anything in one hit, combine it with the ability that means a pistol shot doesn't end your turn and you can cause a world of pain. I have to say though, as much as I like all the extra options WOTC gives you, the training centre is just broken. I don't think anyone was complaining about lategame difficulty in base XCOM 2, and now you can cross-train all your abilities as well as unlocking bonus ones. Two Finger in particular had a dual-shot technique to go with everything else that snipers usually have. It was just ridiculous.

Terrible Robot and Fister Roboto survived the mission with 2 and 4 kills respectively and are gravely wounded. REAL AMERICAN died like a bitch after getting only 1. Much like our MAGA PRESIDENT, I like troops who get kills. My dude also died after getting shot twice, but not before killing a dude or two. Also just FYI i apparently am bad at triggering multiple spawns. Guys died last mission cause we were on the clock to hack the gibson and I had to rush to kill dudes on the objective while we had reinforcements dropping behind. Definitely need more rangers for this sorta poo poo. And I definitely need to play it safer.
