1994 first play though of X-com I carefully savescummed an entire squad up to the point where I found out psionics were a thing (keep in mind this was in the very early days of the internet) and I found out none of them had psi powers. Next run through I beat the game on a pile of bodies. Then I found the mod on ftp.cdrom.com that let me optimize base layout and turn off psi powers.
