Citan was a dick of unparalleled proportion, sure, but the best part is that in hindsight it's easy to see that it was coming all along anyway. He's straight up named after Satan after all.

It took me so many tries and so much real time to manage to beat Calamity as a kid that it's probably the one part of the game I remember best. Crimson Flame sure looks as rad as I remembered at least.

Req.Martyr posted:Shadowhearts getting an addition to the series is no less likely than Drakengard or Nier imo It's significantly less likely because it's actively impossible. The rights to Shadow Hearts as a series is stuck in a kind of legal purgatory and has been for years now.

Gotta do the lottery people in order and get a reward that isn't the Tissues before you can move to the next one, so Totally Definitely Not Keith is unavailable until the endgame, unfortunately.

For whatever it's worth, Arcmene is a very, very minor translation error. It should be Alcmene, giving it an inexplicable tie to Greek mythology. There's a few noteworthy things about her, but the biggest is that she was Heracles' mother. Which the enemy design captures so well. It's impressive really!

Thanks for the fun reminiscent ride back through one of the first PS2 games I ever played, TDI! Brainamp posted:Aside from the previous stuff with the masks, that was a surprisingly subdued death. Still super sad though. Yeah, like I remembered it for sure being more blatant and in your face. It must've just been the masks and Atman being so ridiculous about it that I half-remembered that as being what happened directly.
