Yep net play is important, but be wary of lobs, on pretty much any surface but clay you should be able to catch them after the bounce. You can drop shot him effectively because Boo's gotta play deep to get the most of their curves (same with Bloopers, can't say for Rosalina), and since he's got less of a range on his dives it's easy to beat him.

Wow they really nerfed Waluigi, he has no offensive weapons and the reach reduction can really be felt during net play. I guess it's Daisy time.

Diddy is really cool. Strong but with not a lot of reach, and he can cover the court mostly with a trick shot like dks. As a peach main, he feels really strong.

But if we can coordinate something in the future I'd be more than happy to even out numbers. With the little chat app the game really livens up too.

They have a new more cinematic camera angle for serving too. The randomized courts in tournaments, the shorter games (best of two not three) are all good changes and I'm really enjoying the doubles tournament. Content was sparse at launch but they have supported this game well I feel and I don't regret my purchase at all. Petey piranha even has special serving mechanics. I wish all the characters had more unique characteristics like that.

Trip Report: The Doubles Tournament is amazing, and should have been in the game at launch. Get in voice with a friend, and things become very easy, especially since I don't think most people have played Doubles.
