 They've gotten slightly better at that. You can sort levels by "non-max" and weapons/armor by Soul Breaks/Legendary Materia not yet mastered.

It's still a pain, though.

 I could go for a Granblue Fantasy collab (not Square, I know) as easily as another, better Octopath. A Bravely collab would be nice, too.
