Whoo Aerith LMR and Noctis AOSB. Now I might use them both, Aerith moreso on a team that I can get Last Stand elsewhere (putting her on an earth team with Dingus CSB springs to mind). Noctis I'm curious about anyway because I have his SSB so I am looking forward to putting him in some teams.

Alph uses his BSB first otherwise he'd for sure run out of command stock, but after that it cycles to his SSB and back to his BSB. With Ace Striker/Battleforged equipped, Fujin and Alph were dealing enough damage through BSBs and taking enough damage to build up two soul gauges before their BSB ended so they could go right back into it. Same goes for Iris and her healing. Unlike the other Weapons, Ruby gives you a bit longer to heal up after its Felstar Ultima since its next attack is % based damage, and then it drops actual damage abilities. This is where Iris BSB comes in - it's not instant (no biggie, I have longer to deploy it than against other weapons) but it also has 2k stock and status blink (no pesky confusion to worry about). In case I get really unlucky, Enkidu is there as an emergency heal and sometimes throws damage at Ruby. It was a long, long, long fight and very tedious chipping away at Ruby. I think Fujin and Alph were dealing 8-10k damage per turn against something with nearly 1 million HP. I did lose Fujin with about 10% health to go but in the end...

We've just come off of the festival and before that Barb's debut banner, and she is fantastic, but Ultimecia will do well if you're just starting out and want a wind caster. Ultimately it's up to you.

The FF MMOs continue to give me utter shite. They must know I play WoW. 1/3 Lion LMR. Alrighty saved up 300 mythril for this event let's pull until we get that chain- 3/11 Quistis USB Laguna CSB Rinoa LMR. ... Huh. Well this is awkward. Here I came expecting many pulls and I got it in one. Hm. Not sure if it's worth pulling for more Rinoa stuff - I have her first USB, both BSBs and now her enIce LMR. She is my only ice mage of note but... Hm.

Lucky draw netted me Fran LMR (Viera Mysteries, not the Interrupt with Support using Bow), and Sephiroth LMR (dupe). Not very exciting. RoP on the other hand gave me OK mUSB. Both OK USBs

Finally cleared it! And this was the setup I used. Swapped out Meliadoul and power-boosted my Agrias from lv20 to 99, non-legend dive, and crystal water. She only has her SSB but it was what tipped the scaled from "I cannot clear this" to "I whooped this". So so happy to finally have Ironfist Earth!  Oh and uh, for the pull I got Serah LMR and BSB, and Rydia USB. Cools.

I really hope it's saving mode time, because my mythril is down to single figures after a largely disappointing festival. I was more hyped about my RoP pulls in all honesty. Shame, but at least I can now eke out a sub-30 Golem thanks to some +wind gear and Cloud tech. 3/11 Shantotto AOSB, Glint. Ignis LMR.

Went in on banner 2 because why the gently caress not: 100 gem pull - 1/1 Gilgamesh CSB 50 mythril pull - 3/11 Lenna BSB, Galuf CSB, Bartz USB. Well hot dog, I suddenly have a physical fire team for Magicite.  How does Galuf's chain stack up versus Ingus' CSB chain? I have both but if Galuf can help push out more damage than Ingus I will sub him in.

Yeah I think I might have to rethink my earth Magicite team a little to accommodate. I was running Cinque/Tifa/Ingus/Iris/OK but now I think that Cinque/TGCid/Galuf/Selphie/OK might be a better comp with the new chain. Also wow okay, gently caress that 220 raid boss very much? You get next to no time to DPS it before flowers respawn. 160 solo was fine but 220 is being a real pain if only because the flowers take a lot to whittle down.
