how has the zub run of it been so far? something worth reading in general or pretty much just something to wait for when it hits marvel unlimited?

The two issues I read were a step up due to the way better artist, but it's still not really a must read by any means.

Donny Cates is running a Marvel Knights relaunch.

So Christopher Priest is writing a Kaine led Spider-Team book called Spider-Force. The new Spider-Gwen book is apparently called Spider-Gwen: Ghost Spider.

Spider-Force is a 3 issue mini apparently.

They also announced Spider-Girls by Jody Houser, which is also a 3 issue mini.

It's all tie-ins to Spider-geddon and my interest has tanked.

I'm really late to the party on these, but man is Captain America and X-23 good.

I also did enjoy that Jessica Jones chapter, and I would appreciate if Marvel did more stuff like this.

I'm not really familiar with any of the writers for these ones.

Oh, I didn't know Zdarsky's Spectacular Spider-Man run was ending. That's a bummer.

Unstoppable Wasp is an ongoing, the mini-series listing in the solicits was apparently a mistake

My only complaint is that the issue $6.

Eh, I didn't feel too impressed by that first issue, but I'll give it a few issues to get going.

November solicits:

The most important news: Larocca isn't drawing at least two issues of Star Wars.

And also the first issue of Uncanny X-Men is $8

I hadn't heard of Al Ewing before I got back into comics and I'm glad I gave him a shot.

Everything he's done has been a great read imo.

Yes the stories above are by Charles Soule, Greg Pak, and Ann Nocenti. Though I don't know who is on which story.

Those are trustworthy writers at least. Better than having just one of them and the others being Cullen Bunn and Ed Brisson or something.

Just read Ironheart, thought it was a pretty solid first issue, but nothing amazing. The conversation between Xavier and Riri at the end was pretty fun.

Still, definitely a better comic than what many long time writers of comics have put out. Almost like maybe Marvel and DC should be giving people other than straight white dudes a shot at writing comics?

Marvel's go to strategy is to publish as much of everything as they can, but at least the Conan books have some good looking creative teams announced.

Sad to hear Wilson's run is coming to an end. Ms Marvel always seemed like one of those characters who wasn't near as good written by anyone else. But to be fair I was worried about Wolverine and Gabby changing hands and that turned out really well. Has Ahmed written anything particularly recommend-worthy? I really hated what I read of Exiles and dropped it after about 4 or 5 issues.

I want to read about Superman and his kids.

I want to read every superhero except they also have kids.

Edit - These kinds of "comic characters should remain constant and unchanging forever" posts are weird because I can't think of a single run of comics where that actually happens.

Even those old 60s Marvel comics have somewhat frequent developments in them. The most essential X-Men run ever frequently changes up the team, shifts chatacter loyalties, and changes Magneto into one of the greatest comic book characters ever.
