 Yeah, "make your own fun" is fine and all, but you're really just dropped into the middle of the world with no direction whatsoever. Most NPCs apparently being non-interactable doesn't exactly help, either. My first experience was basically: "Leave town -> Get accosted by bandit -> Tell him to gently caress off -> Whoops he's got five friends -> Run away until I lose them -> Return to the town and do some business -> Ten minutes later all the bandits charge into town, beat my rear end, then run back out again."
