It's been on Game Pass and I really like it but I can't get any of my Tetrishead friends to get it on PC so I'm hoping they get it on Switch and we can crossplay and beat the co-op mode.

It Just Works. When you encounter someone online they’ll have a little joycon or pc or Xbox controller icon next to their name, otherwise the crossplay is completely transparent

mihara likes to hint here and there that they're "working on something" re: tgm home ports or tgm4 and has been doing that for like 10 years so im used to disappointment by now, but here it seems a little bit more concrete. we'll see

I would like to try out Connected mode Vs. sometime now that it's permanently available. The like 2 or 3 imps here that regularly play effect mostly play classic score attack but I'm sure they'd be up for w/e

Saw this randomly today, $4 for a modern tribute to Tetris Attack / Panel de Pon / Pokemon Puzzle League https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/flipon-switch/ Tried it for a half hour, almost identical to Puzzle League though the campaign does have a few wrinkles so they can't get sued or whatever. All my old skills from 15-20 years ago were applicable. Does not seem to have online play, but it does have procedural generation of puzzles so you will never run out.

I guess there's no way to set up a friends match cross-platform? I can't get past the final boss (regular difficulty) of Connected Mode, the boss attacks during its 3rd life are overwhelming. Can 3 friends team up to beat it, or does it have to be with randomized partners?
