Good god, I struggled through most of episode 1 because it either just felt way too forced and not that funny but holy loving poo poo episode 2 was absolutely incredible and some of the best I've seen from him. I can't wait for next week

Jason Spencer posted:“In 2017 I received countless death threats in connection with my introduction of legislation involving the wearing of masks. The threats escalated to the point that my wife received threatening phone calls concerning her and my children. I was very afraid for my safety and the safety of my entire family. "He took advantage of my fears to get me to say these terrible things that I'd certainly never say normally (but managed to do oh-so-easily and have a track record of saying pretty despicable things) I'M THE VICTIM HERE" I also like the part where he makes it sound like he's resigning from the next term that he didn't win when in reality he's just confirming that he's going to finish out the remainder of the term that he has left because he lost his re-election bid. No way. The subtlety of this episode and the buildup was absolutely incredible. Last episode certainly set the bar in terms of in-your-face style stuffff that owned, this was much more subdued but fantastic in its own way. The Roy Moore scene was just priceless. The weakest scene was the rapper and former politician, by far, but everything else was outstanding.
