I've exluded his time at chelsea because he was 16-18 Lukaku is very good but he’s mostly very good against weak opponents like I said earlier in this thread. He disappears in big matches. The only exception I can think of is PSG last season and that was him latching onto a horrific back pass and tapping in a rebound that Buffon should have comfortably saved.

He looks quite good, he has the combination of clever movement plus the ability to get a shot on target in an instant. Noted world class defender and definitely not a fraud de Ligt couldn't handle him. Best part for Juve was when Demiral didn't put up with some of Diego Costa's poo poo housing after they were grappling, and gave him a shove right in front of the ref. I like seeing another defender in the squad willing to physically battle, after watching a year of Rugani backpedaling and shying away from any contact and Bonucci constantly getting out muscled.

I can see it happening if we can’t offload André Silva though. They’re also reporting Balotelli is considering taking a pay cut to play in Italy again. Fiorentina, Brescia and Hellas all interested. Rugani to Roma is sounding pretty likely at this point. It would be cool if Juve bought a utility defender that could cover anywhere along the back line, a Caceres/Peluso type. Having only DeSciglio and Cuadrado as backups...yeah.
