Generally we're not going to give a poo poo about corporation history by itself. The main thing is if you're on the blacklist or not, and ending up on the blacklist means you were part of us in the past and hosed up or hosed goons, typically. You have to be a colossal, public jackass to get on the blacklist while never having been in the corp before.

I brought up one of my Proteus to the north and bought a stealth bomber, an interceptor, and an interdictor. Even if you don't have time to go on big ops you can still find lots of nice targets for solo hunting. I would have brought my super carrier, but I did not have tech 2 rigs so I was worried it would not be replaced if I lost it. Thanks for the replies. I've sent an app in. I haven't posted in a while, and my post count seems to have been zapped *shrug* Chill mining would be my thing and mostly at weekends, maybe some PvP. Couldn't do much more than that, really. My wife already thinks I'm a pervert because I post on internet forums, if she found out that I'm thinking of playing spaceships with net randoms, she'd cancel the broadband.

So I'm really mmo parched and I have an account from maybe 10 years ago I was considering hopping back onto, are there any veteran rewards or anything meaningful to know about? I don't remember the game at all besides doing some mining and stuff so I imagine thats what I'm gonna do again, I'd like to do some trading and escape velocity style stuff too

Eve is supposed to be somewhat of a sim. Removing jump freighters makes no in-universe sense. Of course jump drive technology would be used for cargo. What they need is some module or ship that can interdict ships using a jump drive. Some kind of cyno sink that draws in all ships using a jump drive within a certain light year radius.
