I read the title of the latest EN24 article and thought to myself, "With a title that stupid, I'll bet it's another dumb idea from Seraph." Why am I right about such thing?

Is it wrong that I think it's a little sad? PL disintegrating is kind of the end if an Era. They were kingmakers for a long time, and the only existential threat to GSF from the fall of the old Northern Coalition until the Casino War.

I remember hiring them for 500M to capture a station in Providence for my first, tiny alliance. (We had shot it with T1 battle cruisers for hours, only to have another larger group swoop in during the final minutes.)

I remember thinking it a major strategic blunder to let them escape from B-R without a hellcamp.

How the mighty have fallen, Ozymandias, etc.

Good news! Crashing into other ships is called "bumping" and is a oseful tactic in some situations, as doing so can change the velocity of the impacted ships.

Doing this to a friendly supercapital ship may get you primaried by your own fleet, which results in laughter all around if they determine you're just an earnest newbie and not a spy.

Bringing in P2W without shattering the economy is impressive, and the game mechanics ensure that--except for Casino-scale intervemtions--ISK isn't enough to win over skill, organization, etc.

It's a good point. Maybe pay to access, or something. Or maybe it's an Omega benefit. I dunno. It's a pitfall idea that would need a lot of details figured out, but boule be a reasonable pay money thing that wouldn't break the entire game.

Some purile mouthbreather lets me know by saying, "I'm going to tell Aaaaaatrum!" I checked the fits everywhere, didn't see Atrum's post, and told him that I think the fits were fine. He responds by hyperlinking the post and saying, "Either fix it or Aaaaaaatrum!"

NRP is definitely important, and I didn't mind the constipated little pubbie pointing out where it was required. The immediate and constant threats to escalate to authority was just asshattery.

(What does a Claw fleet even use NRP for, come to think of it? You only shoot one volley, you have no tank...your Sebo, maybe, if your sensor skills are low?)
