I know this is streamer poo poo but in the lull between prepatch Shadowlands a bunch of streamers leveled characters to 30 I think and did the "raid appropriate content" for that level. The guild leader was a dude who had never played or at least raided in WoW before. It was certainly entertaining to see them follow his instructions for 5 hours on a single boss trying to beat it ha. I imagine it would be near impossible for a bunch of randoms to do that and be dedicated to the gimmick.

Oh new MMOs? I saw the some hype videos for https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSTahTUVYao which apparently is coming out this year and has very little information available online as far as I can tell unless its all in korean. It used to be project TL if anyone remembers this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATnegnw0SyQ from 4 years ago Anyways it is supposed to be successor to Lineage in spirit if not directly I guess.

Riots big advantage is Runeterra already existing as a driving creative force in their design. Hopefully they can place a MMO over it but who knows!! I'm sure the same could be said about every other existing IP made into a MMO

Before the Chromie time feature you would out level expansions fast enough to not even complete any of the expansion story lines. I think I got a zone or maybe two done before you would have to move since the level scaling was only for the XP band of the expansion back iirc.

AGS did say they wanted to do T&L first before Blue Protocol. They did have that CBT last fall which I kinda wish I played more of but they dropped it the week a WoW patch dropped which I ended up playing more of.

I assume the guilds they invited in (again) will just do the same thing as before and take over any of the events. The main story quest takes you around and even the early zones will have pvp events where every one is hostile so when I did it I was getting one shot by some beta max level people.
