Now that betting is legal across the USA, I thought there should be a thread for us to discuss our favorite picks of the week.

Got a future bet you love? Insight into your favorite team that might be useful? Throw it all out for everyone to see how stupid your picks are.

Bet that first student loan check on some SEC school to cover -30 week 1 (please don't).

I will be updating this periodically during the season.

I really want to pull the trigger on the over for the Browns wins this year.

This is based solely on watching Hard Knocks.

The team looks a lot more competitive.

New Jersey now has online and app-based sports betting. Has anyone used any of the services? What's the verdict on the sportbooks taking the least juice?

I've lived in Nevada my entire life, but I've noticed online that NJ has been offering insanely an insanely high VIG. Normally a MLB favorite in Nevada of -130 is -170 or higher in NJ. The nice thing about Nevada too is there are multiple online apps for local sports books so it's easy to shop lines and find out if one book is screwing you over for a favorite you like.

oh thank God

I moved to Nevada a couple years ago and I want to get set up on one of the casino sports betting apps, any opinion on the best one?

If you live in Vegas I'd go with the Station Casino's app, many locations across town which makes it convienent.

I live in Reno and go with William Hill. Lots of casinos across the state have a WH sportsbook.

Honestly William Hill and Station casinos have very similar lines. Unless you're betting 10k + a small VIG difference isn't going to affect you.

Whichever one you use make sure it offers ingame betting.
