Oh no, I've given away the game. I am so doomed.  Honestly, though? It's sorta like the "loaned gear" thing where you can give, let's say, Michael Amott, Andy Williams and Misha Mansoor all the same gear Eddie Van Halen uses to try and get Eddie's brown sound to happen, but it wouldn't make a difference because the 3 of those guys hear vastly different things, all have their own idea of that sound and even if you gave them Eddie's EQ settings, it'd still sound different because they all hit the strings differently. I mean hell, all three of them use vastly different tunings for their bands and with different tunings come different string gauges, and like most things, you get used to that string gauge and it's hard going to a different thing even if it's 99% the same thing. e: Soundcheck kinda did a number on my brain (use ear-plugs or IEM; you're never too young to use 'em), but yeah: While I could say, as a vacating mod, "Oh, (X goon) or (Y goon) would totes make for a good mod", it depends on the circumstances.
