The coach was being blatant about he, nodded to her when she saw, and then Serena proceeded to meltdown (over the course of like 4 games) over a nothing warning. She couldn't even properly throw a match like Dimitrov.

A contemporary example is Djokovic. He has yelled at refs a lot.

Here he is warning Djokovic btw.

All the 'IN OTHER SPORTS SHE WOULD BE EJECTED FOR HER SASS' arguments are loving dumb because the equivalent for this is the umpire awarding a team the go ahead run in the ninth inning of game seven of the World Series because he got called something that was not even an expletive or murder threat or anything.

Also she isn't playing a different sport she is playing tennis, where people have traditionally bitched to the chair about literally everything for entire sets.

She is playing tennis, where people have actually been DQ'ed for what she did. She only lost a game.

Also, does anyone have any interesting articles on doping? Are the top players not tested a lot? It kinda registered as weird that Federer and Williams etc are still dominating well into their mid-30's, but doping is obviously never mentioned in mainstream tennis coverage.

E: I found a decent one from last year by Marina Hyde:

So basically they test just enough to say 'look we test' but don't have any particular desire to really stop players doping.

Serena called the cops on a drug tester that showed up at her house.
