I wouldn't drop your money, it isn't all that long in the original game before you're armed back up with everything you lost and things quickly get hairy after that. But while the fighting is mostly aliens again, why not break out a shotgun? Pump action of course

Not to get ahead of the videos but is C4 going to be the only way to destroy the tanks in the next level? That could get hectic, and expensive. I'm not sure if a sniper rifle is in the cards but that could come in handy outside.
