Ugh. Hope this is for flex. Gordon will be on a pitch count, so he’s a risky flex. I’d go Carson on the volume argument.

Woods is probably the safest play though Powell could have a good game against Detroit, who looked like utter dogshit in the preseason. Patricia is a terrible coach. Lol at starting a Pats RB.

I personally think Burkhead has the highest ceiling and floor here. He could get a ton of work. Or James White and Sony could vulture all the goal line work.

I'm learning towards Powell as you've got a rookie QB starting on MNF, so I think they'll lean heavily on the running game. Not to mention the Lions were poo poo last year against the run and I don't see any reason to believe that that has changed.

Burkhead is gonna have a monster year if he stays healthy. Even if Michel is good, Burkhead has a role carved out for himself already.

I drafted Mark Ingram and Alshon Jeffery in one league as my flex (didn't know Jeffery would be out) so I have a pickle here. Pick one .5 PPR:

Keelan Cole @NYG
C Godwin @NO
M. Gillislee vs TB
J. Wilkins (or Mack) vs CIN
G. Allison vs CHI

I'm leaning Cole but may start Wilkins, assuming Mack is out. Gillislee is interesting too though.

Thanks, rolling with Agholor this week. He also gives me a stake in watching PHI vs ATL tonight, which I would otherwise not care much about.

Cole looks like the clear best option to me. Too much uncertainty about Gillislee’s role to start, and I like Allison but he seems to be behind Adams, Cobb, and maybe Graham.

I've looked into trading for a RB, but it's a salary cap dynasty league, so with salaries in play, it's not easy. If I was going to trade for an RB though, I'd move an WR since I'm ridiculously stacked there.

I was more asking about who to start though, since this is the sit/start thread.

Nah, I would follow that logic only if it was a non-Burkhead Patriots RB. I think he'll perform quite well in PPR this week.

I'd go with Lamar. I was going to in 1PPR, I have Miller and Burkhead too lol. That game feels like someone's going to go up early.

Uh speaking of that... in 1PPR in a flex would yall rather start Conner, Miller or Burkhead? I also have Corey Davis, Sammy Watkins and Keelan Cole on the bench for WRs but I'm starting Diggs and Tate at WR and Gurley and McCaffrey at RB

E: lol poo poo pick two, Miller and Burkhead definitely. I like Williams but as a Packer fan I have a hard time trusting one of their RBs especially in 0PPR

I don't really see a huge difference between those WR, and it is one of those week 1  about upside based players and how they will be utilized. I am assuming Thomas has the highest projection which tends to be my tie breaker this early, need to intimidate your opponent with your massive projected points.

If they play the game tomorrow I would strongly consider it. Nothing's getting thrown in that weather. I still think there are good odds that the game will be moved to Monday, though.

Is Antonio Brown still playable this week with potentially bad weather? Would have to replace him with either John Brown or Fuller.

Also, pick one flex, standard scoring:
L. McCoy @ BAL
E. Sanders @ vs SEA
J. Smith-Shuster @ CLE
Robby Anderson @ DET
Alfred Morris @ MIN

Leaning McCoy just because he will never be healthier all year, even though it is a terrible match-up. Also I generally prefer RBs as my flex for more consistency. CBS projections have Anderson the highest for some reason, was leaning Juju but with potentially bad weather I think it is mainly between Sanders and McCoy.

They aren’t going to just run the ball every play. Short routes are fine no matter the weather, and I’ll take the best receiver in the game in lovely weather over an average player in a dome.
