Yes, they can be both of those things. But jumping to the first conclusion is an example of achieving the desired effect of choosing benign symbology and amping up the martyr complex of poor dumb middle America.


But the hand sign isn't flashy or absurd? Its very low-key- probably intentionally so as I said above. Of course the "troll" groups are racists/out-right Nazis. Their leadership admits as much- there was a journalist (maybe VICE?) who accompanied them on the marches last summer and their older leaders were proud of adapting with the times and pushing their "memes" out to the world.

Some idiot my brother graduated with crashed his truck on a night out with his girlfriend. I don't recall whether or not they proved he was driving drunk underage or not. The cartilage in her nose gets really hosed up in the crash. So he calls his dad and they clean her up and dump her in her bed at home like nothing happened. Her nose was basically hanging off her face so their weak little cover up job doesn't work out and her parents sue them.
