As I understand it the difference between manslaughter and homicide is if you would rather the dude died or not. So how can any sort of intentional discharge of a gun that ends up in a dude the gun was pointing at not homicide? A gun is a tool whose sole purpose is to destroy people, animals, pieces of paper, etc. It's not like "Was working construction and having a nail gun fight, and accidentally lobotomized my friend not realizing you can do that, whoopsie" or "I got startled and tasered the dude and the dude had a heart condition, whoopsie" edit: in fairness I could be and probably wrong. On one hand it prevents dudes from committing hate crimes in rural rear end Mississippi, and having the jury nullify it because they're some racist trash and the dude gets off clean. On the other I could see where this is hosed if those same pieces of trash control at the fed and not the state level.

I'm kinda with the no-impeachment poo poo. I feel Trump would be a way more ineffectual lame duck, and may even cost his party a few more points by yelling at clouds than a lame duck Pence who may know the wheels to turn to affect policy without having any legislative controls. The Democrats in the meanwhile could subpoena and investigate the poo poo out of Trump et, al. to hopefully toss them in jail for corruption of one kind or another.
