Location: Ford Field, Detroit Michigan Kickoff: 7:10 Eastern Line: Lions by 7 O/U: 44 The Opponents:  vs.  The Detroit Lions are ostensibly a football team looking to succeed in the NFC North. They won't, but you can't help but root for them anyway! Their new head coach is Matt Patricia, whose most recent football accomplishment is letting Nick Foles pass for nearly four hundred yards and 3 TDs. Fortunately for him, it's not like Detroit's defense can get any worse!  The New York Jets are also a football team, I am told. They're led by Sam Darnold, who has probably spent most of the last few months going to various churches and thanking God, Jesus, Mohammad, and Vishnu that the Browns didn't draft him. Game Trivia: This game will feature the professional debut of Sam Darnold, who is presumably very thankful the Bills were forced to play Allen so rookie expectations have been set at rock-bottom. Lions fans are hopeful that this matchup will also feature the return of Detroit's running game, last seen on July 27, 1999. Like every other expectation in Lions history since Lee Harvey Oswald decided to repaint Daley Plaza a new shade of red, they will be disappointed.
