It's hard to pick the MVP on that mission, even your advent elite boi was pretty good. Got a crit, nearly killed that priest, and distracted those spectres for ages while everyone else retreated to the avenger. Aussie, on the other hand, wasn't having a good day at all.

I actually don't mind them myself, but was saying it more thinking that the mission going hellishly wrong was the shitshow in question, i.e. you could probably have bailed from whatever emergency arose. But there's really no escaping the PS4 just deciding to melt/freeze/render people several tiles to the left so that you move them wrong and they die out of cover. (if that seems overly specific, it's from FairGame's LP of the game)

Dunno about claymores, but I've used the plasma blaster to make a nice door. Aim it right and you can even obliterate the inner wall and wall between cells and skip opening the regular door. So there is some amount of environmental damage that can break the walls.
